STUDY AND WORK
Work On-Campus or Off-Campus
Eligible students may work up to 20 hours per week per semester, and full time during scheduled breaks in the school year.
Co-operative Education
Selected program areas provide co-operative education options that combine academic studies with paid work experience. Students alternate between terms of full time study and full time employment.

Work After Graduation

Every student enrolled in a course at Thompson Rivers University is a member of the Students’ Union. The purpose of the Students’ Union is to ensure that current and potential members can enjoy accessible, affordable, and quality post-secondary education regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, disability, or level of income. TRU Students’ Union provides services such as: affordable access to public transit, health and dental insurance, affordable travel, campus safety, local and nation-wide discounts, a housing registry, a tutor registry, a text book exchange, a handbook and day planner, an International Student Identity Card, a food bank, and support for numerous student clubs.
