FACILITIES

Hope Park, Liverpool Hope’s main campus, is a mini village set within 30 acres of landscaped grounds in South Liverpool. We offer an attractive and safe learning environment with high quality study facilities.

Dedicated to the creative and performing arts, Hope at Everton is Liverpool Hope’s second major campus offering residential accommodation close to the city centre. Plas Caerdeon, Hope’s outdoor education centre in North Wales, is set in 20 acres of woodland in Snowdonia. This refurbished and modernised Victorian mansion offers a base for both academic and other activities including canoeing, climbing, mountaineering and orienteering, mountain biking, riding, dry slope skiing, and dinghy sailing.

At Hope Park, students have access to The Sheppard-Worlock Library, which provides free internet access, e-learning programmes and HopeLIVE – Liverpool Hope’s online student resource centre. Hope Park Sports Centre has a multi-purpose sports hall and the latest fitness equipment. There is also an astroturf, football and rugby pitches and squash courts.

On-campus medical services are available at Hope Park. Daily clinics with the University nurse and twice-weekly services by two medical doctors are also offered to students.

The International Support Coordinator welcomes overseas students and helps them adjust to their new lives. An airport collection service at Manchester Airport ensures students are met and brought safely to Liverpool Hope. An orientation programme is also offered. Social and cultural activities are organised to help new students integrate with the University community and make them feel at home.

The chaplaincy – a support service at the heart of university life – is dedicated to the well-being of all students and staff. There are two chapels – Anglican and Roman Catholic – and a prayer room, open to all faiths. Strong career guidance and support are also available to all students.

Hope Park Refectory serves hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks all day. Fresh Hope, the continental style café bar, serves freshly made sandwiches, hot snacks and a variety of beverages.
